Web Developer (Tailwind / OctoberCMS / Laravel)

Key Responsibilities

UI Conversion & Front-End Development

• Convert Sketch, Figma, PSD, or other graphical UI mockups into clean, semantic HTML using Tailwind CSS.
• Ensure responsive behaviour and cross-browser compatibility of all interfaces.
• Follow pixel-perfect accuracy standards with respect to original UI designs.

October CMS Integration

• Integrate HTML templates into October CMS themes, including layout, partials, components, and content sections.
• Configure menus, pages, media, and plugins to ensure a fully functional CMS-powered website.
• Customise or develop new October CMS plugins as needed for specific business logic.

Back-End Development with Laravel

• Write modular and secure PHP code following Laravel standards to support backend functionality.
• Create and manage APIs, integrate third-party services, and connect OctoberCMS to Laravel packages where needed.
• Debug and maintain legacy code as well as contribute to technical architecture for new modules.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience with Tailwind CSS and front-end integration workflows.
• Strong expertise in October CMS, including theming and plugin development.
• Proficient in Laravel framework, including Eloquent ORM, routing, middleware, and API integrations.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Understanding web performance optimisation, security best practices, and modern dev toolchains.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Alpine.js or Vue.js (used commonly alongside Tailwind and October CMS).
• Familiarity with Docker or similar local development environments.
• Ability to work with designers and project managers in Agile or Scrum teams.

Developers with expert-level WordPress experience will find adapting to October CMS straightforward, given the similarities in structure and workflow.

Location & Work Authorisation

• This position is based on-site in Limassol, Cyprus.
• Non-EU/EEA candidates must already have full legal authorisation to work in Cyprus.
